New students who enroll through Rasmussen University Online and Graduate Studies in any program except those noted below, who start their program on May 8, 2024, or July 1, 2024, may be eligible for the following toward their degree at Rasmussen University:
- A grant worth up to $600 will be disbursed over the students’ first three quarters of their program.
- Students will be billed at the standard tuition rate plus applicable fees before the grant is applied. Students are responsible for all applicable book fees.
- Eligibility will be verified by the Admissions/Financial Aid Office before the grant is awarded.
- In order to be eligible for the Grant, the applicant must enroll by May 6, 2024, for the May 8, 2024, start date or June 27, 2024, for the July 1, 2024, start date.
Additional Terms and Conditions:
- Students must maintain continuous enrollment to remain eligible. A student who withdraws and re-enrolls may no longer be eligible for the grant.
- Students who change their campus or program of enrollment may not be eligible for the grant.
- All entrance and acceptance requirements for the University must be met.
- Grants are non-transferable, and no substitution or cash equivalent/refund is allowed.
- Grant value cannot exceed tuition cost.
- Programs with tuition rates at or lower than $248 per credit for full time rates and $321 per credit for part time rates are not eligible for any grants or scholarships offered by the University with the following exceptions:
- Students enrolling in the Master of Science in Nursing degree programs on or after January 2, 2023, may be eligible for institutional grants regardless of program or course tuition rate provided they meet all other applicable terms and conditions for the grants.
- Rasmussen University Online Programs not eligible for the RU Ready Grant: Early Childhood Certificate, Early Childhood Diploma, Early Childhood Associates, Graphic Design Bachelors, Human Services Associates, Human Services Bachelors, Master of Business Administration, Master of Healthcare Administration, Master of Human Resources Management, and Master of Public Health, Nursing Post-Graduate Certificates in Nursing Education, Healthcare Technology, Simulations and Informatics or Nursing Leadership and Administration
- Campus Programs not eligible for the RU Ready Grant: Healthcare Certificate, Healthcare/Health Sciences Associates, Medical Assisting Diploma, Medical Laboratory Technician Associates, Physical Therapist Assistant Associates, Radiologic Technology Associates, Surgical Technologist Associates, Practical Nursing (LPN), Professional Nursing Associates (ADN/RN), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (standard and second-degree nursing)
- The RU Ready Grant may be combined with other grants and scholarships offered by Rasmussen University, with the exception of the Professional Achievement Grant.
- Employees of APEI and APEI Educational Units, including Rasmussen College, LLC and their family members are not eligible to participate.
- The grant is awarded quarterly for the first three quarters (up to $200 per quarter) for eligible new students and is non-renewable.
- A grant worth up to $600 will be disbursed over the students’ first three quarters of their program.
