Rasmussen University is excited to announce plans to consolidate our Lake Elmo/Woodbury and Eagan campuses and bring most academic and administrative operations under one roof at the relatively new Eagan campus. The consolidation will happen over the course of the next several months with a goal to be complete by July 2024*.
“Rasmussen University continually explores the best opportunities to create ideal learning and working environments for the Rasmussen community,” said Lindsay Allen, campus executive director at the Rasmussen University Lake Elmo/Woodbury and Eagan campuses. “Two years ago, we relocated our Eagan campus and built a brand-new facility in the Eagandale Corporate Center, which currently has some unused space. That gave us the opportunity to reimagine how to best serve our students in the Twin Cities, specifically streamline student access to resources, support services and learning opportunities.”
Lake Elmo/Woodbury and Eagan currently share administrative staff, and they will continue in their current capacities at the Eagan campus. All Lake Elmo/Woodbury campus-based programs will move to a new location. Students currently enrolled through the Lake Elmo/Woodbury off-campus instructional site for the Bloomington Professional Nursing (ADN) program will have their records transferred to the Bloomington campus in January 2024. The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) and Radiologic Technology programs will move to Eagan in July 2024*.
In preparation for that move, plans are underway to build new health sciences labs at the Eagan campus. Construction is expected to begin in January 2024 with it complete in time for the July 2024 academic start.
“We take pride in our long-standing history in the Eagan community, which dates back nearly 35 years,” said Allen. “We’re excited to continue building on that legacy and welcome our Lake Elmo/Woodbury faculty and students to Eagan next year.”
